These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SmokeStep mobile application ("App") provided by Yuncheng Yanhu Canghai Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "our", or "Company").
Important: By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the following requirements to use the App:
- Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in some jurisdictions)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
- Comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content
If you are under 18 years of age, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account using one of the following methods:
- Apple Sign-In
- WeChat Login
- Huawei Login
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
3.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
4. Description of Service
SmokeStep is a smoking control and cessation assistance app that provides:
- Smoking habit tracking and recording
- Personalized smoking reduction or cessation plans
- AI-generated health recommendations and suggestions
- Attention-diversion activities and strategies
- Progress monitoring and statistics
- Motivational content and daily check-ins
Medical Disclaimer: The App is designed for informational and motivational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals regarding smoking cessation or any health concerns.
5. License and Restrictions
5.1 Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
5.2 Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
- Use the App to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
6. User Content
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in the App ("User Content"), including:
- Smoking records and logs
- Personal notes and goals
- Custom cigarette information
6.2 License to User Content
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App services.
6.3 Content Standards
You agree that your User Content will not:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on any third-party rights
- Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Contain offensive, harmful, or inappropriate material
7. AI-Generated Content
AI Disclaimer: The App uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized smoking cessation plans, health recommendations, and motivational content. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may not be accurate or suitable for your specific situation.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content is not medical advice
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
- You use AI-generated content at your own risk
- You should consult healthcare professionals before following any recommendations
8. Subscriptions and Payments
8.1 Pricing
The VIP membership fee is displayed on the VIP pages within the App. Prices may be adjusted based on operational needs. Please refer to the actual prices shown in the App.
8.2 Payment Methods
- iOS Platform: Payment is processed exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase (IAP). The iOS platform uses an auto-renewing subscription model. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- HarmonyOS and Android Platform: Payment can be made through WeChat Pay and other available methods.
iOS Platform Subscription Details:
- Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the service for the remainder of the paid period.
- After cancellation, the service will stop at the end of the current subscription period.
How to Cancel iOS Subscription:
- Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on your Apple ID at the top (showing your name).
- Select "Subscriptions".
- Find and tap on "SmokeStep" in your subscription list.
- Tap "Cancel Subscription".
- Confirm the cancellation.
Note: If you don't see the Subscriptions option in Settings, you can also tap your account icon in the App Store, then select "Subscriptions" to manage your subscriptions.
8.3 Refund Policy
IMPORTANT: Please Read Before Purchasing
Refund requests are handled by Apple and Google directly. We (the app developer) cannot process refunds directly.
📱 For iOS Users (Apple App Store):
- All purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase are subject to Apple's refund policy.
- To request a refund, you must contact Apple Support directly.
- How to request a refund from Apple:

- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find the purchase and select "Request a refund"
- Choose the reason and submit your request

🤖 For Android Users (Google Play Store):
- All purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google's refund policy.
- To request a refund, you must contact Google Play Support directly.

- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Budget & history"
- Find the purchase and tap "Request refund"
- Choose the reason and submit your request

⏰ Refund Timeframes:
- Apple: Refund requests are typically processed within 48 hours, but may take longer depending on the case.
- Google Play: Refunds for purchases within 48 hours can be processed directly through the Play Store. For older purchases, you'll need to contact Google Play Support.
Note: The decision to issue a refund is solely at the discretion of Apple or Google. We (the app developer) have no control over the refund process or decisions.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
9.1 Our Rights
The App, including all content, features, functionality, designs, graphics, interfaces, code, and software, is owned by the Company and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
9.2 Trademarks
"SmokeStep" and our logo are trademarks of Yuncheng Yanhu Canghai Network Technology Co., Ltd. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.
9.3 Third-Party Rights
The App may include third-party content or links to third-party services. All third-party trademarks, service marks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
11.1 "AS IS" Basis
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
11.2 Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER:
- The App is NOT a medical device or medical service
- Information provided is for educational and motivational purposes only
- The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice
- Do not disregard professional medical advice based on App content
- If you experience medical emergencies, contact emergency services immediately
11.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
- Personal injury or property damage
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
- Any content, conduct, or statements of any third party
EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE APP OR THESE TERMS, YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE OF THE APP.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
- Your User Content
- Any breach of your representations and warranties
13. Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Using the "Delete Account" feature in the App settings
- Contacting our customer support
13.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activities
- Conduct harmful to other users or the Company
- Extended periods of inactivity
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App immediately ceases
- Your User Content may be deleted (subject to our retention policies)
- Provisions that should survive termination (disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification) will continue to apply
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending an in-app notification or email (for significant changes)
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
15. Modifications to the App
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time
- Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the App
- Remove or modify content without notice
We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:
- Informal Resolution: First, contact us to attempt informal resolution
- Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
- Court Action: Either party may bring suit in the courts located in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, China
16.3 Class Action Waiver
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, NOT AS PART OF A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
17. Apple App Store Requirements
17.1 Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge that Apple Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms as they relate to your use of the App on iOS devices, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms.
17.2 Apple's Role
Apple is not responsible for:
- The App or its content
- Maintenance or support services
- Product warranty claims
- Compliance with applicable laws
17.3 Device Requirements
Use of the App requires an iOS device. You are responsible for complying with Apple's usage rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the App.
18.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18.3 Waiver
No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
18.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
18.5 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, or technical failures.
18.6 Language
These Terms may be translated into other languages. In case of conflict between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.
19. Export Controls
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import control laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any prohibited party list.

BY USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
